Explanation: Never trust anyone that gives you a weapon, even if they tell you, it's empty. ALWAYS CHECK THE WEAPON AND MAKE IT SAFE YOURSELF

Know your SAFETY rules

TREAT all guns as if they are always loaded

Never trust that a weapon is empty or on safe.

NEVER point your gun at anything you are not willing to destroy

KEEP your fingers off the trigger until you have identified your target and have made the decision to shoot

Even if your weapon has a safety on it, you always keep you finger off the trigger and on the frame of your weapon until you're ready to pull the trigger.

ALWAYS be sure of your target and what is beyond

Just because your target is a piece of paper, know whats behind the paper and beyond the backstop.

ALWAYS keep your keep your firearms locked and secure until ready to use
